I based the concept off of the Cunningham V3 Speedster, a vehicle that set an American Speed record at the hands of famed racing driver Ralph DePalma. This car seemed like it was the cutting edge in its day, similar in price and performance to a Bugatti today.

I began with sketching proportions, large value and form studies, and researching details about the history of the company and its cars.

This was the majority of the process. For my final presentation on the concept, I worked on converting and modernizing the Cunningham logo and font. I also developed a set of final concept sketches and built a 1:5 scale speed form. The model was painted in a Rolls-Royce color code "Anthracite Pearl." This aligned the model with the market segment that the concept could be placed in.
